Product

What is TumbleTreat made of?

TumbleTreat is made from 100% food-grade silicone—the same material used in baby bottle nipples and kitchen spatulas. It contains no plastic, BPA, or phthalates.

Is it durable enough for aggressive chewers?

TumbleTreat is a puzzle toy, not a chew toy. The silicone is durable for normal rolling and nudging, but it's not designed for sustained chewing. Always supervise your dog and remove the toy if they try to chew it.

What sizes do you offer?

We offer three sizes: Small (for dogs under 20 lbs), Medium (20–50 lbs), and Large (50+ lbs). When in doubt, size up—it's better for the toy to be slightly too big than too small.

What's the difference between the Orb, Tube, and Pyramid?

Each shape rolls differently. The Orb rolls freely in any direction (shortest sessions). The Tube rolls in straighter lines, requiring more deliberate play. The Pyramid wobbles unpredictably and typically produces the longest sessions.

What does "Dial-a-Difficulty" mean?

Each TumbleTreat has an adjustable ring that controls the size of the treat outlets. Rotate it to make openings larger (easier, faster) or smaller (harder, longer). One toy, infinite difficulty levels.

Usage

How long will my dog be occupied?

Session length depends on the shape, difficulty setting, treat type, and your dog's experience. With our guaranteed-duration treats at medium difficulty, expect 25–90 minutes for the Orb, 35–110 minutes for the Tube, and 45–140 minutes for the Pyramid.

What treats work best?

Any dry treat smaller than the outlet openings will work. Kibble, training treats, and freeze-dried proteins are all great. Our Guaranteed-Duration Treats are optimized for consistent dispensing times.

Can I use wet food or peanut butter?

TumbleTreat is designed for dry treats only. Wet foods may clog the outlets and are harder to clean. For spreadable treats, consider a lick mat instead.

How many treats should I use?

We recommend starting with 15–20 treats for a standard session. You can adjust based on your dog's calorie needs and desired session length. Treat count scales roughly linearly with duration.

Is it safe to leave my dog alone with it?

We recommend supervising your dog, especially during their first few sessions. Once you know how they interact with the toy, you can decide what's appropriate. Remove the toy if it shows signs of damage.

Care & Cleaning

How do I clean TumbleTreat?

TumbleTreat is dishwasher safe—just place it on the top rack. You can also rinse it under warm water with mild soap. Let it air dry completely before storing.

Will it stain or hold odors?

Food-grade silicone is naturally resistant to staining and odors. If you notice discoloration from certain treats, a baking soda paste can help. The toy will not absorb smells like porous rubber toys.

How should I store it?

Store TumbleTreat in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Silicone is UV-stable, but prolonged sun exposure can eventually affect any material.
